Rollup is available to all members of Sherfield Oaks GC we play every Monday & Thursday except on the occasions when Club Competitions are scheduled
Sherfield Oaks Golf Club (SOGC) – Rollup Competitions
Format: Usually singles stableford, but Monthly fun rollups us various formats
Qualifying Stableford (counts for handicap purposes)
Held on Monday & Thursday mornings (year-round)
Administration:
Managed by the Rollup Committee (separate from the main club competitions committee)
Not part of official SOGC club competitions (which are run by the SOGC Competitions Committee)

Open to all Sherfield Oaks Golf Club members

Rollup dates are listed on Golf Genius
Players must enter via Golf Genius at least 3 days prior to the event. (You can still enter after this time but will not have a tee block choice.
Key Notes:
Since these are qualifying Stablefords, scores will be submitted to WHS (World Handicap System).
May have slight differences in rules/prizes compared to formal club competitions.
How to sign up
To enter the rollup, you should sign up via theGolf Genius app. for the appropriate day. You can select early, middle or late tee time.

The rollup runs between 8.00am & 10.00am and is adjusted to suit number of sign ups per rollup
The draw is closed 2/3 days before the rollup to enable tee times to be released for general use. If you miss the sign up, you may still enter (but you may not be able to select preferred tee slot) by contacting the admin team
Following your game, once you have verified your gross score with your marker, you should enter your score via the Ig app on your phone. This will be used to adjust your General WHS HC.
A £3 sweepstake payment should be paid (in cash) in the box provided. Leave your signed card in the same box.
Results will then be transfered to the Handicap master (Master scoreboard) system to calculate results based on rollup Hc.
All entry money is paid out in prizes (less 5% for admin fee) Depending on numbers, we usually pay top 3 in each division plus NTPs
Prizes are calculated using the spreadsheet below. On occasions the prizes are adjusted to pay out extra places.
Results are recorded on a separate software system called Master scoreboard.
Rollup MSB requires individual password sign-in. This was changed from before the Coronavirus situation, when we had a generic sign-in. This change was required in order to allow of players entering their scores via MSB,
PLEASE NOTE. IT IS A RULE THAT ALL NEW ROLLUPPERS MUST COMPLETE TWO 'QUALIFYING' ROLLUPS BEFORE THEY ARE ELIGIBLE TO WIN A CASH PRIZE, ANY PRIZE WON IN FIRST TWO ROLLUPS WILL BE DONATED TO THE ROLLUP CHARITY.
Rollup handicaps are calculated on a different system to the WHS. Please see Rollup HC page for more details
